A fun-filled week!

Well, friends, I’m sorry that it’s been such a long time since I’ve written… But I had a great week, and I hope you did, too!

You see, this week, my Mommy’s human parents visited from California. I’ve only met them once before, when I was much younger; it was very exciting to have them come out and watch me work!

I even got to show off for them and jump 4 feet high! Mommy’s parents said that I was amazing, and that they’re proud of me for growing up to be such a good boy.

They spoiled me rotten and bought me a bunch of treats and some amazing new jumping boots! (I’ll tell you all about the boots another time!) Mommy’s parents are the best grandparents a horse could ask for. They left on Saturday morning, and I already miss them.

On Sunday, I got another awesome surprise: I got to work out with Daddy! Mommy declared this week a “light” week, so I got two days off after jumping, and Daddy and I had a short, easy ride on Sunday. Daddy let me warm up nice and slow with a long rein, so I could stretch out as much as I needed to. Then, we worked on doing some flying lead changes… and we did them perfectly!

After my workout, while Mommy and Daddy groomed on me and told me what a good boy I was, I got to hang out with one of my best friends in the whole world… Rocky the kitty!

And today, I even got to see my girlfriend, Brooke! It had been a while since I’d seen her, so I was a little shy at first… But it only took me a couple minutes (and a yummy molasses cookie) before I warmed up to her again. And then I couldn’t stop kissing her!

So, again, I apologize for not writing in such a while; as you can see, though, life has been busy! I’m not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I will keep you updated, friends. I hope that you’re all staying cool and keeping hydrated… this heat is only going to get worse! But for now, I’m off to graze with William and Troy… Catch y’all later!
