Soon beginnings

Mommy and I had a great workout today. We practiced flatwork and – although I was very hyper and slightly skittish – I did everything she asked of me immediately.

Stretching it out

Stretching it out

We even did some of the more difficult lead-change exercises, and Mommy started teaching me to change when she shifts her weight, instead of when she uses her leg. I was really getting the hang of it!

And... CHANGE!

And… CHANGE!

But… anyway, I think that another chapter of my life is about to begin. Mommy mentioned that I will be moving to a new barn soon, and that I’ll have to say goodbye to my best friend, Leo.

I’m not really sure what to make of that… I mean, I know by now that my life will always consist of moving around. I just don’t know how Leo will be when I leave. I sure hope he isn’t too sad… and I sure hope I can see him sometimes. But the truth is, I never really count on seeing my friends again when I leave. It’s not that I don’t want to; it’s just that my future holds such big things.

I’ve lived in so many places. And I’m going to live in so many more. I wonder where I’ll be going next…

I guess I’ll see this new beginning soon enough. And I’ll be sure to tell you about it, too.

Catch y’all later.

Where are you moving?? Are you moving out of Tennessee??

    • Don’t worry, Danyssa! I won’t leave you behind! I haven’t seen where I’m going to live next, but Mommy tells me it’s beautiful!
