I know, I’m sorry. It’s been too long. I didn’t write yesterday… but it’s only because I was kind of pissed off. Why, you ask? Well, because my Mommy was still away, and my Daddy long lined me again! I thought I had gotten my point across quite clearly when I told him that I didn’t want to long line again for an entire year, but now I’m thinking differently. I might have to tell him one more time; didn’t I buck enough the last time he long lined me? I love it when he rides me. And normally I love being long lined, too, but that’s mostly what I’ve been doing lately – and it’s really getting boring.
I got today off because I worked five days in a row, and even though I didn’t work too hard any of those days, that’s the maximum number of consecutive days I’m allowed to work. I didn’t really want today off, but it’s actually alright because it was really cold today. It was so cold, in fact, that I could even see my breath while I was eating my hay in the paddock!
Anyway, let me move on to the good and bad news:
The good news is that my Mommy is home! It was great to see her. She gave me hugs and kisses and hay and lots of love and pats. Of course, I hugged her right back and gave her sloppy kisses on the face, just how she likes it.
Now for the bad news.
The bad news is that my Mommy isn’t feeling well, so she won’t be able to ride me tomorrow. She came home from California with a cold (which is weird, because she said it was very warm out there. So why didn’t she come home with a warm, instead?) and she even lost her voice. I probably won’t even get to see her at all tomorrow, because she said she has to stay at her home and sleep.
So, Daddy said he’s going to ride me tomorrow, but we’ll just see about that. I have a feeling he’s going to try to long line me again; if that’s the case, keep an eye out for some more photos of me bucking – because I will not be happy!
Alright, I’m going to go cuddle up in a corner of my stall and take a snooze while I wait for uncle Mike to come down and give us our night hay. Sleep well, friends!
